From High Street Kensington tube station (10 minutes):Exit the station through the shopping center and turn right once on Kensington High Street. Cross the road opposite the Royal Garden Hotel and enter Kensington Gardens. The Palace is signposted, but basically it's straight ahead. You can pick up a free local map from the tube station.
From Notting Hill Gate tube station (10 minutes):Turn left from the ticket hall and take the left exit. Walk along Notting Hill Gate until you come to Kensington Gardens on your right. Enter, and the Palace is ahead of you.
By bus
Bus routes: 70, 94, 148, 390 to Bayswater Road (north side of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens)
or 9,10, 49, 52, and 70 to Kensington High Street (south side of Kensington Gardens).
Please note that after 4pm the only exit from Kensington Gardens is via Orme Square Gate which is on the north side of the park leading onto the Bayswater Road. Turn left and walk back to Notting Hill Gate tube station.
