Visit London, the official London tourist board, have devised a selection of themed weekend breaks including hotel recommendations and full itineraries from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

These have been primarily put together for the UK visitor, but I don't see why they won't appeal to visitors from all over the world.

  • Second Honeymoon: What could be better than a romantic weekend in London?
  • Culture Vulture: Calling all culture lovers - London has inspirational art, theatre and heritage galore.
  • Ditch the Diet!: Many gastronomic delights await you in London from the finest restaurants to gourmet markets.
  • Girls Just Want to Have Fun: Everything you need for the perfect girly getaway.
  • Boys Will Be Boys: Enjoy an action-packed weekend away with the lads.
  • On A Budget: There's so much to see and do in London without breaking the bank, you'll be simply spoilt for choice.
  • Carry On Camping: Everything the gay visitor could wish for: fantastic restaurants, the best clubs, world class fashion and more!
  • Loopy London: Fancy something a bit eccentric?
  • Tomorrow's World: Take some time to explore London's modern side.
