Over the last few years, bowling has become very trendy in London. No longer the domain of only families, London's bowling halls have a lot to offer for a fun night out. Check out these recommended bowling halls in London.

All Star Lanes: Bloomsbury Branch

All Star Lanes Bloomsbury, was the UK's first luxury bowling venue. There are four lanes downstairs and two lanes upstairs in the private room, which you can hire for parties. It's been designed in a 1950s American retro style and has an extensive cocktail list and a great diner.

All Star Lanes: Bayswater Branch

The second of the All Star Lanes luxury bowling venues opened in August 2007. It also has a cool 1950s American retro style and has an extensive cocktail list and a great diner.

All Star Lanes: Brick Lane Branch

Opened November 2008, All Star Lanes Brick Lane is 22,000sq ft of bowling, drinking, and eating fun. The largest All Star so far has nine lanes, a stylish drinking den, Luncheonette - a stand-alone classic American restaurant, and a 3-lane '80s penthouse-style private bowling room.

Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes

Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes have eight classic American-themed bowling lanes. They have cocktails and 'Lane Snacks' on offer as well as hanging out in the Swivel Bar or the full service Bloomsbury Diner. Uniquely, Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes offer the opportunity to bowl while looking out on their courtyard through the large windows which are opened in the summer.
