The 2009 Oyster and Seafood Fair will not be happening again.
"It is with much regret that the Hay's Galleria Oyster & Seafood Fair for September 2009 has been cancelled.
Although this popular annual event has been running for 17 years in London, the cost has been increasing year by year.
We have worked hard to find a major sponsor this year but unfortunately have not been successful. Therefore, regrettably, a decision has been taken to cancel the 2008 and 2009 event. Should a suitable company be interested in fully sponsoring the event in future years, however, we will consider running the Fair again."

Hay's Galleria in London hosts the Oyster and Seafood Fair to mark the start of the British oyster season. It's a fish and seafood extravaganza. All the produce is locally-sourced but the recipes are usually exotic.
