Note: The Brick Lane Festival we have seen for the last few years is not happening in 2008 but there is a Brick Lane Music Festival instead. Read below for more details.

Where:

The Music venues in and around the Old Truman Brewery join forces to create a free day of live music and djs. The Vibe Bar will host live music in their courtyard and special programs will be put together by Café 1001, 93ft East, the Big Chill and the Rough Trade shop.

Brick Lane will be closed to traffic close to the venues to help crowd movement and add to the festival atmosphere.

Brick Lane Festival, is recognized as the alternative to August's Notting Hill Carnival.
