About The Old Curiosity Shop:
The Old Curiosity Shop is said to be the inspiration behind the Charles Dickens' novel of the same name. The building was built in 1567 and is considered to be the oldest shop in central London. The building is listed which means it must be preserved. It was one of the few buildings to survive the Great Fire of London of 1666 which is a wonder as it's made of wood from ships.

The shop is still open and is home to the new BLAAK boutique.
