Harrods is considered the world's best department store. Located in Knightsbridge London, it is spread over seven floors and is worth a visit just for the architecture and interior design.
Visit Duration
Allow at least half a day to fully explore the departments, and because you can easily get lost in such a large store. Fortunately there are over 30 eateries throughout the store so you could stay all day.
Surprising Affordable
Everyone can visit Harrods and you may be surprised to hear everyone can afford to buy something, even if it's something small from the Food Hall.
Few Rules
As it is open to all they do ask that shoppers wear clean, presentable clothes (nothing offensive such as slogans or anything revealing), and that you carry backpacks in your hand, not on your back to prevent damage to displays.
Photography
Photography is allowed in most departments but not in Fine Jewellery, the Banking Hall or the Antique Furniture Department.
