Chip and PIN Card Payments

At large retailers, such as supermarkets, the cashier will take your credit or debit card and swipe it in their till machine. They will then leave your card in position (parked) while they ask you to enter your PIN. They will return your card to you with your till receipt, after your card payment has been authorised.
