London Zoo

Animal Adventure opened in 2009 and is the new children zoo. Children can get close to the animals in a safe and fun environment. I like the tunnel you can crawl through to pop up inside the meerkat enclosure. (You look out of a glass 'bubble' and feel like you're in with them.) The 'Splash Zone' is very popular with younger visitors so do bring a spare set of clothes as they find it hard to resist getting wet! I can also recommend the 'Touch Zone' where you can safely touch and feed animals such as goats and sheep. (Note, there are plenty of hand-washing facilities next to this area.)
