Coram's Fields is a unique seven acre playground and park for children in central London. It is free to use and provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can play freely. Adults are only permitted with a child and there is always staff available to ensure all is well. Good for children of all ages. Pets corner is always a hit.

Directions

Once you've picnicked and played, it's time to move on to two university museums: the Grant Museum of Zoology and the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology Don't go before lunch as they don't open until 1pm.

Turn right as you exit Coram's Fields, and turn right again onto Lansdowne Terrace. Follow this road as it bends round and stay on the same side of the road as you turn right onto Brunswick Square. This road goes into Hunter Street, so carry on until you reach Tavistock Place. Turn left onto Tavistock Place and stick to this road until you almost reach Gower Street Waterstones (this is a well known bookstore so is a useful landmark). Before you reach Waterstones, turn right into Malet Place. Both university museums can be found down here. The Grant Museum is first down an alley on the left, where you see bicycle racks, and the Petrie is the next door along on the left.
