Distances between one or two tube stops in London is much shorter than you would think from looking at the London Underground map. The map has been designed to be easy to read, but not to accurately show you how far places are away from each other.Use your A-Z to help you see how far away places really are.

My best tip is always walk between Charing Cross and Embankment stations. Just look how close they are!
