Guide Review - We Will Rock You
Mixed Audience
The audience was a real mix of all ages from children to grandparents, and I saw a lot of different generations enjoying the show together which must be a large part of its appeal. I saw groups of seniors who had dressed up the night and teenagers in jeans and all could sing along to every word of the Queen songs.
Seriously Loud!
I was sat in the Stalls and it was incredibly loud which took a bit of getting used to. But oh wow, the voices of the actors are exceptional and reminded me why London's West End theatre is so special.
My Favorite Line
"What were magazines? Magazines were like websites but made of paper."
So Strong!
Performing on stage for a few hours, with song and dance routines, needs a fit cast but the strength of these men and woman has to be seen to be believed and it's clear everyone gives it their all every night.
Recommended
There's enough comedy to keep the story light-hearted and there's enough Queen music for the true fans. I had a great night and rushed out to buy a Queen album the next day. I'd recommend the show to all who want to sing along and see a fantastic West End show.
