You can see this sundial on the side of the conservatory. See below for how to use it to tell the time.

Did you know some 'sun' days are longer than others? But of course, all 'clock' days are the same length. The difference between sundial time and clock time is called 'Equation of Time'. To obtain clock time from sundial time you need to check the graph on the wall near the sundial for the variance that month and do a simple calculation. Then add one hour for British Summer Time. It sounds complicated but it's not that bad and it does work!
