I was a little confused with the directions to the next audio point, but basically look for a way to walk along the river, away from Tower Bridge, and you will pass Custom House first. The Guide tells you to look for the blue railings which make it easy to identify.
Custom House is the London headquarters of The Customs Service. This site has been used by a Customs Service since 1275, and there have been many 'Custom House's here. The one here today has been built in a similar style to the Custom House designed by Christopher Wren. Wren's Custom House was finished in 1671, and destroyed by fire in 1715.
