There are two main entrances to Tate Britain; the front entrance up the grand steps is called the Millbank Entrance and the side of the building has ramped access and is called the Manton Entrance.

The Millbank Entrance takes you straight to Level 2 and the galleries. There is also a shop and information desk.

The Manton Entrance takes you to Level 1 and the main visitor facilities. There is a large information desk with access to Tate Online, and a shop by the door. Next to the free cloakroom is a public telephone and ATM (cashpoint). There are toilets including disabled facilities and baby changing.

Eating and Drinking
The Rex Whistler restaurant and Tate Britain Cafe are past the cloakroom. Neither have natural light as they are in the basement. There is a second, smaller cafe in the foyer, near the special exhibition galleries, but tea and coffee are served in paper cups here.

Plan your visit using an interactive map of the gallery on the official website. You can search by date using a timeline, alphabetical by artist, and then log in to create your own tour. PCs are available at the Information Desks.
