About the Hunterian Museum:
The Hunterian Museum is at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. The Museum is inspired by the life and work of the surgeon John Hunter (1728-1793). The collection was bought by the government and given to the Company of Surgeons in 1799. It is a modern museum full of glass cabinets with labeled glass specimen jars.
The Hunterian Museum contains preserved human remains so may not be suitable for all the family.
Top Tip: Pick up a free museum guide just inside the museum.
