Shopping at Kew- Victoria Plaza Shops:
- Garden Shop
- Book Shop
- Cook Shop
- Gift Shop
- White Peaks Children's Shop
- Victoria Terrace Café
Top Tip: A paper cup of tea is £1.40 (2007 price) in the Victoria Plaza but in the Pavilion Restaurant £1.40 gets you a pot of tea – 2 mugs worth.
Open year round 9.30am until half an hour before the Gardens close.
- White Peaks Café
Described as serving "char-grilled snacks and vegetable fries" - you know this means burgers and fries for the kids.
Open from 10am until one hour before the Gardens close. During Winter and less busy periods grilled food may not be available.
- The Orangery Restaurant
Enjoy seasonal dishes in this elegant Grade 1 listed building.
Open from 10am until one hour before the Gardens close.
- Pavilion Restaurant
This would be my first choice for lunch or a snack as you can get tea in a proper cup (not paper) and it has a large outdoor seating area. Reasonable prices. A pot of tea (2 mugs worth) £1.40. Sandwiches under £3. (I spent more at Tesco Express by Kew Gardens station.)
Highchairs available outside. No sunshades but the trees help.
No baby changing facilities here but some nearby (at the edge of the Gardens).
Open: February - October.
