Watch This Space is the National Theatre's free outdoor summer festival which takes place on the South Bank at Theatre Square from July to September. For the summer months (when the weather holds off) Theatre Square in front of Denys Lasdun's iconic building on the South Bank becomes the fourth auditorium. There is a lovely 'grass' area for you to sit and watch the entertainment which includes a mix of British and international street theater, bands, club nights, dance, cabaret and more. Watch This Space is the playful side of the National and welcomes a vast number of extraordinary artists to entertain us all. It's fun. It's free. Enjoy!
