To get to the free viewing platform called View Tube, you need to turn left immediately after leaving Pudding Mill Lane DLR station. This is what you should see. There are some concrete steps down to what looks like a secure area. This is the edge of the Olympic Park, and there is a Security Guard always on duty, but you are allowed to cross the 'road' here to get across to The Greenway.
There is a slope to reach the higher level so it's fine to start cycling from here.
