I went on a bus tour of the London 2012 Olympic Park, soon to be called the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in November 2012 (see the photos
) to be able to share the changes to the site since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. I returned in February 2013 to see how much further the work has progressed and I hope these photos give you a wonderful insight into a time of fast change in London.
There were around 17,000 construction workers on site before the Games but now it's down to around 500 to get the site ready to reopen in July 2013. Construction will continue on the site for more years ahead to create five new neighborhoods and around 7-8,000 new homes.
