Houses of Parliament Summer Opening
The Houses of Parliament is a fantastic London landmark and is well worth a visit. It is open to visitors for 2 months every summer.
The site of the UK Houses of Parliament is the Palace of Westminster, a royal palace and former residence of kings. Each summer there are tours of both the Houses of Commons and the House of Lords. Find out more details on dates, times, and ticket information.
A description of The Houses of Parliament Tour during the summer opening in 2006. The tour takes in the Queen's Robing Room, the Royal Gallery, the Prince's Chamber, as well as the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
Britain's most expensive public toilets are near Parliament Square costing 50p. This inspired me to find free toilets near to the Houses of Parliament. I can recommend the Methodist Central Hall cafe for free toilets and a peaceful cafe.
