Excellent For Single Travelers
I also saw the larger Executive Rooms and these were comparable with rooms from London 4 star hotels so would be worth saving on room cost and staying at this 3 star hotel.
LocationThe hotel is opposite The Savoy and five minutes walk from Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. It's a great base for visitors to London as you can easily walk to many attractions.
No A/CProbably the biggest complaint from overseas visitors is the fact the hotel has no air-conditioning which could be a problem in the height of summer. Every room has a fan that can be plugged in around the room and most UK visitors can cope fine with this.
WifiWifi is free for 30 minutes but there's a fee after that which is a shame but quite normal in London hotels.
Dining OptionsThe hotel has five locations for eating in from a cafe to the Lounge Bar and the popular Johnston's Brasserie which serves well-priced pre-theatre meal deals. I've enjoyed afternoon tea at the Strand Palace Hotel which is, again, incredibly well-priced.
