In-experienced visitors to London be warned! Morris's Cafe is an overpriced tourist trap; the equivalent to a black cab taking you the long route to your destination. DO NOT go to this cafe! My friend and I, both Londoners, ended up here on a Saturday morning for a cappuccino and a herbal tea. Imagine our surprise when a bill was placed on our table for the grand sum of £5.80. Nearly six pounds for a coffee and a peppermint tea! Slightly taken aback we asked if they had given us the wrong bill. But no, they charged £2.50 for the coffee, £2.50 for the tea, plus an 80 pence service charge. We made loud comments about not being tourists, but we paid and vowed never to return and to warn the world against such appalling practices. An 80 pence service charge added automatically for two drinks - shocking. I hate to say this, but it would be better to go to the Pret a Manger on Piccadilly as it's a much better deal.
