About The Tipperary:
The Tipperary is the oldest Irish pub in London and celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2006. Have a look at the plaque inside explaining the pub's history. The pub dates back to 1605 but only became an Irish pub in 1700, and was possible the first pub outside of Ireland to serve draught Guinness.
The Tipperary was called 'The Boar's Head' but t changed it's name after the First World War in a nod to the song 'It's a long way to Tipperary' which many regulars had sung in the trenches.
