Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro Restaurant

Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro Bishopsgate is part of a chain of Italian restaurants. The building was built in 1894 as Turkish Baths, and is in a churchyard, which make this an unusual place to visit.

The restaurant is much bigger than you think - there's space for 150 downstairs. The walls are covered in photos of the owner with celebrities which adds to the fun atmosphere - you never know you'll be there. For warmer days there is outdoor dining on the terrace.

The food is simple pizza and pasta dishes. Diners go for the fun as much as the food as there's live music every evening and a popular karaoke night on Mondays.
