British chocolate is dark, luxurious, and is taken very seriously. Chocolate Week is an annual event in October in the UK, just so you know.

Where do you go for the best hot chocolate in London?

Some UK and US chocolate bars are said to be the same but I did a taste test with friends to find out it this was true.

Longitude 0°8', the bar at Le Meridien Piccadilly, serves hot chocolate all year round. They use three types of Godiva chocolate and offer nineteen flavorings which are brought to your table for you to smell and add yourself.

London Hilton on Park Lane offers 'Confessions of a Chocoholic' - a chocolate afternoon tea menu. The traditional tiered cake stand overflows with chocolate goodies such as freshly baked chocolate chip scones served with home made chocolate praline spread, chocolate cupcakes and miniature chocolate fancies. What a sugar rush!

London Eye and organic chocolate makers, Green & Black's, are offering the opportunity to indulge in chocolate tasting whilst enjoying views of the capital.
