A museum with two tales to tell, the London Canal Museum helps visitors get to know London's waterways, particularly the Regent's Canal which it backs on to. The building had a previous life as an ice warehouse for ice imports from Norway before mechanical ice production so there are also interesting displays about ice and ice-cream as well as the chance to see the only surviving ice well in London.I was expecting to spend half an hour here but I stayed for a couple of hours and could easily have stayed longer as it's a really fascinating place. It's definitely somewhere I want to take my daughter to so I hope I can return soon. I've written a lot more about my visit so please do read more about the London Canal Museum.
