Museum of London Docklands is Re-Opening

The Museum of London Docklands has been closed throughout the summer to host Deutsches Haus, the official base for the German National Olympic Committee. They've made good use of the closure time by carrying out essential upgrades to facilities and improving the visitor experience.

Now the Olympic and Paralympic Games are over, the Museum is reopening on Monday 17 September. I'm a big fan of the Museum of London Docklands, especially Mudlarks which is one of the best museum children's play areas in London. This 200 year old warehouse reveals the long history of London as a port through stories of trade, migration and commerce.
