Last week I stayed at the latest London hotel opening from Tune Hotels, the budget hotel chain that made a name for itself in Asia and is now spreading across the world.
Tune Hotels have stuck to their ethos of developing brownfield sites (i.e. not new builds) in prime locations near major transport hubs. From there the rooms have the same space-saving features across all the hotels so you can start to recognise their style and branding, just as UK travelers do with Travelodge or Premier Inn.
Tune Paddington is an excellent location when traveling to and from Heathrow Airport and has a 24 hour Tesco supermarket opposite, a Post Office, and access to the canal paths for a different view of London. (See Little Venice to Camden canal walk.)
I stayed with my daughter and we had a great dinner at Mandalay and then slept well as the beds are super comfy. Do read my Tune Hotel Paddington Review for more details about the hotel, the area, and my findings.
