Phase One of Opening up the Soane at Sir John Soane's Museum has gone well and the scaffolding is being removed from number 12 so we can see the facade again. It's an ambitious project to create a better museum in these terraced heritage buildings on Lincoln's Inn Fields and seems to be going well.I'm looking forward to the next exhibition - Stadia: Sport and Vision in Architecture - opening on 6 July that explores the origins of the modern sports stadium in antiquity and will look at how modern architects have both responded to this legacy and gone beyond it.
