Take the blinkers off as the London 2012 Olympic Games are nearly here and if you want to get around town this summer you are going to have to be realistic. Now is the time to start considering the options whether that's walking some of the way, cycling a different route, or a mix and match of transport modes, as the disruption is going to last for nearly two months.Of course, the Olympic Games are about sport but no-one is suggesting you have to suddenly get fit and cycle 20 miles to work each day but using the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme for a section of your journey may be more convenient if your station is affected by congestion.
