After the excitement last year for the royal wedding, and this year for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, hopefully this has whetted your appetite for Royal London locations. The pinnacle of them all is Buckingham Palace which opens every summer to the public. This year it'll be open for longer starting from 30 June with a brief closure during July, while the Queen is in residence, and then open through to October. I love to see the State Apartments every year and look forward to having tea and cake overlooking the gardens. This year's special exhibition is Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration with the largest collection of royal diamonds ever assembled for public display.
