Van Gogh at Royal Academy
Sunday November 1, 2009
In January 2010, The Royal Academy will host the first major exhibition of van Gogh's work for over forty years.Vincent van Gogh was a prolific writer and this exhibition will focus on the artist's remarkable correspondence. Over 35 original letters will be on display, plus around 65 paintings and 30 drawings that express the principal themes to be found within the correspondence.
This looks to be a 'biggie' so book early. The letters may even give us an insight into the complex mind of the artist.
Exhibition Title: The Real van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters
Venue: Royal Academy of Arts
Dates: 23 January - 18 April 2010

I can’t wait for this exhibition to come to London because getting there is more feasible than Amsterdam. Finally there’s a reason to get excited about the end of a January!
