This sounds like a great idea all round as visitors will get to meet real Londoners and will most likely have access to the things a real home has such as a kitchen with pans and cups and all that good stuff, books about London, etc.
While they started out getting offers of couches and sofa-beds, AirBnB have found that 50% of their listings are now entire apartments, homes, and vacation rentals.
Londoners, if you have a spare room/apartment or even just the couch in the living room to offer you could make some extra cash here as there is no charge to list your room and guests pay a small service fee to cover AirBnB costs.
