I read on the Visit London Media Centre that four of the top ten museums in the world are in London*. Now that's a great fact!

• 3. National Gallery - London (4.2m)
• 4. Vatican Museums -Vatican City (4.3m)
• 5. National Gallery of Art - Washington DC (4.5m)
• 6. Metropolitan Museum of Art - New York (4.5m)
• 7. Tate Modern - London (5.2m)
• 8. British Museum - London (5.4m)
• 9. Centre Pompidou - Paris (5.5m)
• 10. Louvre - Paris (8.3m)

The admission charge for Musee d'Orsay is €9.50 and most of the others have admission charges too - except those in London! These four London museums are all free! I think we win again.
