Francis Bacon at Tate Britain

Monday September 29, 2008
I saw the Francis Bacon at Tate Britain last week and felt decidedly underwhelmed. Maybe it was because of the cramped rooms (when compared to Tate Modern) or the over-crowding but I just didn't enjoy it as much as the Mark Rothko at Tate Modern I saw the next day. Maybe it's just personal taste on artists. Let us know what you think by clicking on Comments below.

About Tate Britain:
Tate Britain is the national gallery of British art from 1500 to today. The rooms are arranged in chronological order, often with a theme or a focus on a particular artist. Find out all you need to know to plan a visit including, how to get there, opening hours, access information, and family activities by reading the Tate Britain Visitor Information.
