Inaugural Bizarre Ball

Friday September 12, 2008
On 10 October 2008, two weeks after the London International Tattoo Convention, is the debut Bizarre Ball from the people who bring us the alternative culture publication Bizarre Magazine. And it promises to be one of the biggest and best celebrations of alternative life and culture ever seen in the UK.

Lucha Britannia, Ministry of Burlesque, and the Circus of Horrors are all involved in this extravaganza, which boasts new rock acts, burlesque dancers, terrifying freaks, exotic erotic girls, masked Mexican wrestlers, and strange illusionists, plus an audience who will be vying to outdo each other's outlandish outfits.

While there is no dress code as such, you can guarantee that most guests will dress to impress. Organizers say, "Think fancy dress, fetish, rock'n'roll, mods, dandies, fops, wenches, leather, pirates, uniforms, militaria, medical, latex, furry, clowns, bikinis, weird, dark, colourful…but most importantly, fun!"

Date: Friday 10 October 2008
Venue: The SeOne Club, 41- 43 St. Thomas Street, London SE1 3QX
Tickets: £25 available from wegottickets.com
