Absentee Ballots - Can You Vote in a US Election?

Friday August 22, 2008
Ferne Arfin, the About.com UK Travel Guide has put together this information about how to vote in a US election if you're in the UK at the time of the election. Ferne tells me:
With an Absentee Ballot, you can vote in a US Election from anywhere in the world that has a postal service. If you are otherwise qualified to vote in a US election (federal or state) but are overseas at the time of an election or primary you can still vote with an Absentee Ballot as long as you apply for it and send it in on time.
I found her 4 step guide really useful and would recommend it to anyone traveling later this year who doesn't want to miss out on their vote. See:
