The Scoop at More London (next to City Hall, near Tower Bridge) welcomes back the award-winning theatre company, The Steam Industry, for their sixth season of accessible, exciting theatre for all.
No tickets required, no need to book - just turn up and enjoy the shows!

Blood Wedding
by Federico García Lorca, in a version by Ted Hughes
Spanish playwright, Federico Garcia Lorca, was inspired by a newspaper account of a local woman who abandoned her husband-to-be on their wedding day to escape with her childhood sweetheart. Taking these few facts as a starting point he explores desire, repression, ritual and the dilemmas of a rural community blighted by knife crime.

Petite Rouge - A Cajun Red Riding Hood
adapted by Joan Cushing from the book by Mike Artell and Jim Harris
Everyone loves the story of Little Red Riding Hood and this lively new family musical version from New Orleans, based on Mike Artell's best-selling children's book, will delight children and adults alike. Expect the blend of award-winning comedy, puppetry, song and dance in this irresistible helping of horrendous French, happy endings and hot sauce!
Performances: 13 August - 7 September 2008
Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays

Get Fit for Free
Fight Klub: 2 July - 27 August 2008, 7.30am-8.30am
Fight Klub brings the boxing ring to The Scoop at More London. Set to pumping music this unique class uses freestanding training bags, which allow you to move freely, strike effectively and be the fighter you always wanted to be. Suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. For your first class please turn up 10 minutes to register. Classes are run on a first come first served basis.

More Creative Arts Festival
Join the creative arts charity Create and explore the beauty of Indian dance, learn some top toe-tapping steps from the Swing workshop leaders or watch the demonstrations from the professionals.

Bollywood Dance: Monday 25 August 2008
45 minute workshops at 12 noon, 1pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm

More Creative Dance Performance: Wednesday 27 August 2008
Time: 12.30pm and 1.30pm
Come and enjoy the final performances of Create's collaborations with Westminster Young Carers Service and with the Bede centre in Bermondsey, bringing together young adults with learning disabilities and local children.
