Tanqueray Tables

Tuesday July 29, 2008
This summer marks the return of Tanqueray Tables, a series of intimate cocktail evenings in unique al-fresco venues normally off-limits to the public. Hosted by the makers of Tanqueray® gin, together with toptable.co.uk, guests will sample an intensity of flavors through cocktails and canapés in spectacular venues across the UK. After starting in Edinburgh, the London venues are:
  • Merchant Taylor's Hall in the City of London
The Hall is home to Merchant Taylor’s Company, one of the Twelve Great City Livery Companies surviving from medieval times. The outdoor space dates back to the 14th Century where it was once a vineyard and orchard.
  • No.4 Hamilton Place
Dating back to the 17th Century, and overlooking Hyde Park, the house is full of Edwardian features and includes the Duke of Wellington as a previous tenant.
To find out more about the venues and to reserve your table, log on to www.tanqueraytables.co.uk. Tickets are £10 per person including canapés and cocktail tasters, but places are limited so book early.
