Donna Marie & Maypole Dancing
Saturday May 31, 2008
St Christopher's Place is celebrating its English eccentricity with a spring Maypole dancing event on Saturday 14 June 2008. Donna Marie and her dancing troupe will hold three performances of the traditional Maypole dance at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. There will be an appearance from the Lord Mayor of Westminster at 3pm with a special performance in her honor. Having worked and performed dance for over 35 years, Donna Marie and her dance troupe, some of who are as young as 4 years old, have won a host of awards at the Edinburgh Festival, and are now in demand across the globe.
