Pygmalion at The Old Vic

Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw is one of those endearing stories of a working class Londoner who tries to better herself. Henry Higgins (Tim Pigott-Smith) is the arrogant Professor of Phonetics who makes a bet with his friend Colonel Pickering that he can turn Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle (Michelle Dockery), into a duchess. The show runs at The Old Vic Theatre till 2 August 2008.
