Rambert Dance Company is argueably Britain's premier contemporary dance company and they return to Sadler's Wells in May for a trio of new works:
- Carnival of the Animals is arguably Siobhan Davies' most popular and endearing work. This brand new production by Britain’s most accomplished female choreographer is set to Saint-Saëns' beautiful and melodic music. Re-invigorated for the 21st century the work re-unites Rambert’s dancers with this outstanding artist.
- American Doug Varone has been described as a 'craftsman' of irresistible intensity creating work laced with wit and emotional detail, his latest collaboration with Rambert is a London premiere.
- Finally, Andre Gingras' exuberant Anatomica #3 provides a thought-provoking climax to this programme of work.
