Jack the Ripper Exhibition at Museum in Docklands

From 15 May to 2 November 2008, Jack the Ripper and the East End exhibition is on at Museum in Docklands. Expect to see surviving documents and artifacts from the police investigation into the crimes as they unfolded. You'll also discover the stories of the people involved stories and the world they lived in. The identity of Jack the Ripper is still not known which has helped to make him quite a legend. The exhibition will ask why the tale of the Whitechapel murders continues to resonate 120 years on and why this one unknown figure has become so iconic, and so much a part of London.

About Museum in Docklands
The Museum in Docklands tells the story of London's river, port and people, from Roman settlement of the port, through to the recent regeneration of London's former Docklands. Even though the Museum in Docklands is housed in an old warehouse the building is fully accessible as it only opened in 2004. It's a great place to take kids as they get free admission as do students with ID. Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to the Museum in Docklands as there are fantastic views from this overground train system which is included in your London Transport Oyster travelcard.
