National Gallery Free Trail
Monday March 24, 2008
The National Gallery has a free trail for early readers (young children) called 'Seeing Things'. I tried it out with some young friends and they really enjoyed the activities. The trail involves following a map and looking closely at different paintings to answer questions and draw pictures. I found that while the kids were drawing the adults had time to admire other paintings in the room. I'd definitely recommend asking for this free trail when visiting the National Gallery.
