London Eye Easter Fun

Friday March 21, 2008
I went down to the London Eye last night in the rain to see the light projection on the Shell Centre, the building next door. I don't feel this photo does it justice as it was a wonderful display that improved as it got darker.

This display is part of the fundraising weekend organized by the London Eye and Lindt chocolate to raise money for raise money for ChildLine – the confidential 24-hour helpline for children and young people. Head on down to see stilt walkers (not in the rain), face painting (again, not in the rain), and fundraisers dressed as chefs giving out free Lindt chocolate bunnies (yes, in all weather!) I recommend going towards the big green telephone in front of the London Eye and putting money in the huge bunnie's nose and when you do this the phones rings!

This special event is only on for a couple more days (ends 24 March) so don't miss out. The London Eye is always enjoyable, whatever the weather.

P.S. I can also tell you that if you are visiting with young children, small buggies are now allowed on the London Eye which is great news.
