Cockney London Knees Up!
Monday February 25, 2008
If you fancy a right royal knees up there's a fun night to be had of knee-slapping, Joanna-bashing* and plenty of Cockney rhyming slags (that's not a typo!) This could be the most 'London' night you could ever have and it's happening at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club. There's going to be singing, dancing, bingo, and Cockney poetry and the Pearly Kings and Queens are going to be there. You'll get a free Beefeater gin cocktail if you arrive before 8pm, and tickets are just £3 for the pensioners (£8 for the rest of us).

Wow, this looks like a fab night, I’ve always been intrigued by the Pearlys since I saw them in Trafalgar Square a couple of years ago!
Looks ace, I better get my Pearly outfit sorted out!! Just watched a video on the Pearlys and found out they have around 30,000 buttons handsewn on their outfits!
