We attended the New Years day parade last year and what an awesome day. We got up quite early for an English breakfast and then took a cab to try and nail down a site prior to the crowds which seemed like millions arrived. The performers were unbelievable and we must say that the folks lining the parade route could not have been friendlier to us. It may be too late to go this year, but plan on it next year if you will be in London during this time. enjoy
