Free Music at The Scoop

Thanks to Rose for telling us on the Forum about the free music festival taking place on the South Bank at The Scoop. Throughout July, enjoy some of the world's best session musicians - from Exotic Cabaret and Jazz to Reggae, Motown Soul, and Funk. Every Wednesday to Friday lunchtimes (12.30pm -2.00pm) and evenings (6.30pm - 9.30pm). The Scoop is next to City Hall, by Tower Bridge. (Location map)

It gets better - every Friday night the AllStars are playing with special guests like Jocelyn Brown, Maceo Parker, Hamish Stewart and Angelo Starr. They are a band made up of the top session musicians in Europe and they are great. They've just finished their album - so they will be playing all the classic funk and soul tracks and some of their new material as well.
