Buy Your Oyster Card on the Gatwick Express

Tuesday March 27, 2007
Oyster cards can now be purchased while traveling on the Gatwick Express train from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria. Having an Oyster card will save you money on London buses and tube train fares as cash fares can be up to twice as much. Unfortunately, you can't use your newly acquired Oyster card to pay for the Gatwick Express as they do not yet have the Oyster card barriers installed at the London Victoria Gatwick Express platform but you can start using your Oyster card once you are through the barriers and continuing your journey by bus or tube.
